This article presents the results of extensive experimental measurements of moisture migration through the exterior walls of a wooden building, with the aim of verifying its safety.

Expanded polystyrene serves as the thermal insulation core of sandwich panels bonded from wood-based structural panels. Together with an external insulation composite system and interior gypsum board, they meet the stringent thermal insulation requirements for the building envelope of low-energy and passive houses.
