Although the building is a standard single-family home, its location sets it apart. It is situated near Prague Airport and is therefore exposed to excessive noise. However, the EUROPANEL construction and special windows provide the residents with an exceptionally high quality of life.
We decided to build with EUROPANEL based on our experiences in Sweden, where most people live in wooden houses. We were captivated by this style of living, and we don’t regret our decision at all. From the first shovel in the ground, we were living in our new home within six months. Speed is an undeniable advantage of building with EUROPANEL.
We’ve been living in the house for 6 years now and are truly satisfied. The house is comfortable, dry, bright, warm, and has its own unique atmosphere. It doesn’t get hot in the summer, and in the winter, we enjoy pleasant warmth. We heat the entire house with a wood-burning stove, bringing the temperature up to 27°C. Wood costs us about 15,000 crowns for the entire heating season, including all processing and transportation costs.
We see another advantage in the sound insulation. We live near the airport, so we had to install special windows. However, they conducted noise tests on us several times, and there were no issues with the house. We would recommend living in a prefabricated wooden house without hesitation, but it’s essential to choose a reliable construction company.
