Europanel has been on the market for 17 years this year. It introduced a new construction technology to the European market, which has competed—and continues to compete—with established technologies such as brick blocks, aerated concrete, and concrete.
Through feedback from our customers, we learn why they chose to use Europanel for their construction projects or businesses. We summarize the reasons in the following points.

- Development and Innovation
Since 2004, Europanel has been used for wall construction. In 2008, in-house development made it possible to use Europanel for the roof sheathing of both wooden and masonry buildings.
In 2011, we defined the Lightbuilding construction philosophy, which involves anchoring structures to ground anchors with a Europanel foundation slab and the option to use a prefabricated utility core. Lightbuilding has eliminated all wet processes from construction, including the foundation slab. Lightbuilding has established itself in the construction of single-family homes, and last year it was also used in the construction of a health center in Seifhennersdorf.
In 2017, an experimental house was built on the company’s premises, where continuous diagnostics of the building envelope are conducted in accordance with Eurocode 5 and other regulations for timber construction. At the same time, the parameters of the building’s indoor environment are measured and evaluated in terms of hygiene standards. The measurements confirm our customers’ experience regarding the absolute safety of Europanel structures.
In 2019, a four-year project for the construction of multi-story buildings using Europanel, co-financed by the Ministry of Regional Development, was completed. The project was carried out in collaboration with the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Brno University of Technology. As part of this project, tests and trials were conducted in the areas of acoustics, structural engineering, and fire resistance, with a total budget of 14 million crowns. Europanel has thus become the only structural insulated panel (SIP) building system in all of Europe to have been thoroughly researched.
In 2020, taking a break from large-scale projects, we developed a height-adjustable footing with a tilting head for the foundation of the now-popular smaller structures intended for both permanent housing and recreational use.

Europanel offers all of the above features and services at prices that are competitive with other types of construction, as evidenced by the interest shown by individual investors and construction companies. We offer additional price discounts to trained contractual partners from construction companies.
