Modern and functional solutions for your future

If you’re planning your home, it’s definitely worth considering the modular open-concept home solution called Natura Space. Modern living places high demands on construction technologies. Combining these with individual requirements so that they adapt to changes throughout life is not easy during the planning phase. The Open Space in Natura home concept from EUROPANELis the ideal combination of modern design, functional layout, healthy interior space, low operating costs, and environmentally friendly construction.

Natura Space family homes are the answer to the demand for affordable, quickly assembled homes that can be adapted to the changing needs of their owners. The concept is based on the Europanel building system, which is capable of encompassing all necessary structural elements for above-ground construction, supplemented by building installation modules from the same system. This allows individual structures and building components to be prefabricated at the manufacturing plant so that each home can be built to meet the customer’s current and future needs. The construction is designed entirely without wet processes, including the foundation slab, which significantly shortens the construction timeline. Additionally, the house is built above ground level on ground screws, concrete footings, or strips. This reduces costs from the very start of construction, not only for the foundations but also for measures against radon and ground moisture.

“Our goal was to create a flexible concept for a starter home for one- or two-person households that allows for future expansion to accommodate a larger family,” says project author Roman Kubr, director of Europanel. “Even if, for example, a young couple builds a small house for their own needs, they can easily add additional sections to the house over time in the form of modular spaces.”

The i.CORE modular core as the heart of the home

However, the most attention deserves the revolutionary statically load-bearing modular cores for family homes and apartment buildings, known as i.CORE, which are integrated into the Natura Space house concept. Europanel installs this structural element right from the earliest stages of construction. The core module serves as a technical hub housing all utility networks—electricity, water, and sewage—as well as other equipment necessary for the home’s operation, such as electrical panels, plumbing fixtures, and other essential technical systems.

On-site construction with a quick solution for the future

i.CORE building modules are primarily designed for utility rooms, bathrooms, toilets, storage spaces, and staircases in multi-story buildings. These are therefore always complex structural and technological units requiring the coordination of various trades. Depending on the structural load-bearing capacity, the module ceiling can also serve as the floor structure for the second story or the roof. Modules can be stacked on top of each other to form individual floors.

The technology for building homes using the Europanel construction system, combined with i.CORE prefabricated installation modules, shortens construction time by weeks and allows for future expansion over time as the owners’ needs change.
